What's cooking?
| Dear visitors and regular readers please be updated that Propeler Film bought rights for publishing a Croatian version of 'My First Movie' by Stephen Lowenstein. The book will be promoted at Zagreb Film Festival (of course) and to make it all spicier we are preparing a special side program containing first films from today's famous directors. What to say more than we have a lot of hard work a head of us as but we will all be awarded when the next ZFF comes. |

Here comes the Oscars...
| This year between all the nominees for the Oscar Award you can find several debutant directors. We had the pleasure to screen two films that mach this criteria. Regarding Georges Clooney's last film there is no point of telling you more. After Venice, London, New York, Zagreb and now Rotterdam we could imagine George the Handsome with a nomination if not the Golden Statue. What came as bigger surprise was a first film of an American artist Miranda July 'Me and You and Everyone We Know'. Created ... |

From ZFF to the stars
| After having its ,hard to get Croatian premier Hrvoje Hribar's film "What is a Man Without Moustache" reached the magic number of 100. 000 viewers which is something we don't see everyday around here. Congratulations!!! |

Nice life of ZFF films...
| Two films from 3rd ZFF competition won awards and mentions on 16th Ljubljana international film festival.Documentary 'Shutka - the book of records' (Czech/Serbia), made by Aleksandar Manić won Amnesty International Award. Slovenian/Croatian 'Gravehopping', directed by Jan Cvitkovič, recieved Special Jury mention in official competition. Member of the Jury was an actor Slavko Štimac, also member of our jury this year. ... |
